Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen, or Chaouen, is a town located in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco. It is renowned for the striking buildings in various tones of faded blue in its old town. Leatherworks and weaving workshops line its steep cobblestone paths. On the shaded central square of Outa el Hammam is the red-walled casbah, a 15th-century fortress and dungeon with ethnographic and artistic exhibitions. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises not far away
